Job Description
As a Web Developer at AcademiaOne, you will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining our web-based platforms and applications. You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and fellow developers to build user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing websites and web applications.
Develop, test, and maintain web applications and websites for AcademiaOne.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
Implement security best practices to protect user data and maintain the integrity of our systems.
Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web development.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Skills
You will need to have:
Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces across various devices and screen sizes.
Security Awareness: Knowledge of web security best practices and the ability to implement security measures to protect user data and system integrity.
Performance Optimization: Skill in optimizing web applications for performance and scalability, including familiarity with tools like Google Lighthouse and PageSpeed Insights.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues efficiently.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in web development using technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Familiarity with front-end and back-end development processes.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
